Review On the New Internet Pyramid Schemes
Today's internet marketers are using new techniques to get your business. Some are legitimate while others are pyramid schemes.
Shrewd marketers on the internet are using different ways to convince people that their system is not a pyramid scheme. Some tell you that they do not fit the description of a pyramid scheme because their plan does not go back to the top of the pyramid. That is a misleading statement.
The fact is that all pyramid schemes either sell nothing, or something of little or no value. And, they show how to repeat the process, as the means to make the money.
For example, there are some that try to promote a gifting blueprint. They have videos showing people opening sealed courier envelopes, then open it on camera showing cash and some signed documents. The plan in itself is to repeat what the reader is reading, thus a pyramid scheme. The only way to make the money is to ask others to make gifts and to have them ask others to make gifts.
The biggest and most confusing part is when some use ebooks as a front but are really selling the repeating process. The how-to books are the most confusing of all.
On the internet, there are ebooks, resale ebooks and software that gives the person all rights to the material. This can be legitimate and having permission to sell or distribute can be fine.
To make this clearer on whether it is a pyramid scheme or not, the ebook on itself needs to have its value determined. If someone was just selling this ebook, what would a reasonable person pay for it? Whatever this value, you should not pay one penny more to get into their money making system. Any money over that is being used to support a pyramid scheme. Money can be made using a pyramid scheme but it is short lived and illegal in most countries.
RULE 1: This system should allow you to make decent money on your own. If you sell the product yourself, how much money can you make? If you can live with that amount, it is probably a legitimate money making system.
RULE 2: A how-to book should be information on how to make money yourself without solely relying on the recruitment others.
RULE 3: To properly place a value on an ebook, see if the ebook is really looking to sell something else on the back end. Are they withholding the real information? If so, it is worth nothing or the most $5.00.
We reviewed a success system that we purchased which does not ask for any more money or back end sales, plus has a forum that keeps you informed of new and updated information.
